CASE-STUDY 7 MINS READ

From $4,500/Month to Nearly $50,000/Month by Month 8.

08 JUNE, 2026 7 MINS READ
From $4,500/Month to Nearly $50,000/Month by Month 8.

A $4,500/Month Affiliate Setup Was Already Working. By Month 8, the New System Was Generating Nearly $50,000/Month.

With promotion still kept light, Scalajan built the follow-up system and drove more than 11x the monthly affiliate revenue from the same audience.

Project Snapshot

  • Niche: Gaming (Valorant) + Lifestyle

  • Market: English-speaking country (confidential at creator’s request)

  • Duration: October 2025 to May 2026 (8 months, collaboration ongoing)

  • Audience: 100,000+ YouTube subscribers and 75,000+ Instagram followers

Existing Monthly Revenue

  • YouTube + Twitch: ~$3,500

  • Casino affiliate marketing: ~$4,500

  • Total: ~$8,000

Existing Affiliate Setup

  • Promotion limited to Instagram

  • A tracked link sent followers directly to the casino registration page

  • No structured education, follow-up, or managed customer journey after the click

Target
At least $10,000 per month from affiliate marketing, with a goal of $15,000 by the end of Month 3.

The affiliate revenue was already meaningful, but the system behind it was leaving a much bigger opportunity untapped.

The Opportunity

The Audience Was Already Buying. The Existing Setup Was Leaving Value After the Click.

The creator was already earning approximately $4,500 per month from casino affiliate marketing while promoting it only on Instagram. He never pushed the offer during Valorant streams or YouTube highlight videos.

Affiliate promotion was already familiar to his audience, and the casino data showed a clear pattern:

  • Early-stage click and registration performance was strong

  • Repeat deposit activity and long-term customer value were weak

  • The relationship effectively ended once a lead reached the partner website

  • Meaningful affiliate revenue was already coming from very limited promotion

Scalajan saw the problem immediately: the audience was already raising its hand, but the existing setup handed that interest away too early.

If education, support, and follow-up could be added without increasing promotion, the same audience could support a much larger business.

The Challenge

More Revenue Had to Come From Better Monetization, Not More Promotion

  1. Replacing a profitable offer had to be worth it
The casino link already produced roughly $4,500 per month. A replacement needed a credible path to stronger medium and long-term value.

  2. Promotion had to stay intentionally limited
Trading would appear in roughly one or two Instagram stories every three days. Scalajan could not brute-force growth with more posts or links.

  3. The handoff after the click had to be rebuilt
The casino setup sent warm traffic straight to a registration page and surrendered the relationship when interest became most valuable. Scalajan needed to add context before the broker introduction and support after it.

The job was clear: earn more from each interested follower without asking the creator to promote more.

The Central Strategy

Core Strategy: Keep promotion light. Make the post-click experience do the heavy lifting.

Guiding Principle: Use the creator’s trust to open the door, then earn the conversion through support and education.

Comparison of the affiliate journey before and after implementing the Scalajan strategy, highlighting the addition of community, education, and follow-up layers.

The Strategy in Execution

What the Audience Saw

  • Light Instagram promotion

  • A branded Telegram community instead of a direct broker link

  • Direct support before registration

  • A chance to test the broker platform before creating an account

  • Beginer education and ongoing community content

What Scalajan Built Behind the Scenes

  • A complete Telegram-led customer journey

  • Support capacity matched to audience demand

  • Creator-specific branding and community presentation

  • Beginner education, follow-up, and continued support after registration

  • Ongoing analysis of clicks, registrations, deposits, and conversion

Phase 1: Learn Before Scaling

The first month was deliberately controlled.

The audience-facing experience:

  • Occasional references to a new side business

  • Telegram links available for limited periods, usually around 24 hours

  • No permanent link or heavy push

What Scalajan was learning:

  • Which questions and concerns came up repeatedly

  • Expected click and registration volume

  • Support capacity required at scale

  • How the Telegram experience should look and feel for this audience

By the end of Month 1, Scalajan had enough real audience behavior to prepare the support operation for a permanent rollout.

Phase 2: Replace the One-Step Referral With a Managed Journey

Month 2 gave Scalajan the first clear proof that the new model could outperform the existing casino setup.

What the data showed:

  • The casino offer still generated more raw clicks during the overlap

  • The Telegram-led path produced much stronger click-to-registration performance

  • Click-to-deposit performance was also significantly stronger

That was enough to justify removing the casino link from the creator’s bio and fully transitioning to the new journey.

What changed after the click:

  • Interested followers entered Telegram instead of going straight to a registration page

  • Support answered questions and explained the trading model

  • The broker was introduced only after the lead had enough context

  • Users could test the platform before registering

A major part of the build: 10 beginner training videos
Scalajan also created a 10-video training library that unlocked after registration. Rather than leaving new users to figure out binary trading on their own, the videos gave complete beginners a structured introduction and kept the education process moving after the initial conversion.

That made registration the start of the relationship instead of the end like it had been.

Phase 3: Make the Experience Feel Native to the Creator

By Month 4, Scalajan had enough audience data to move from learning into refinement. The support team understood the questions, expectations, and behaviors showing up repeatedly, so the next improvements focused on making the community feel more valuable and more closely tied to the creator.

That included:

  • Creator-specific Telegram branding, including custom stickers and emojis

  • More lifestyle content from the creator inside the community

  • Continued support and community management

  • Ongoing refinement of the educational experience

By Month 6, the creator took another step and began recording the training videos himself. Scalajan provided the scripts and structure, keeping the material simple enough for complete beginners while making the education feel even more native to his brand.

From Month 6 through Month 8, the model required very little structural change. Scalajan continued managing the operation while performance settled at a much higher level.

The Results: More Value From the Same Promotion Footprint

Eight Months of Revenue Growth
October vs. May

A comparison of key performance metrics between October and May, showing a significant increase in monthly revenue-share commissions from $7,423.95 to $49,986.63.

The creator kept the same light promotion cadence while monthly revenue-share commissions rose from $7,423.95 to $49,986.63.

Revenue-share context: The figures above show total commissions generated. Scalajan uses a 70/30 split: 70% goes to the creator and 30% to Scalajan for the build-out and ongoing management. At May’s $49,986.63, the creator’s share was $34,990.64.

Conversion Improved at Every Step
October vs. May

A comparison of conversion rates showing significant percentage point growth across the entire user journey after implementing the new system.

By May, 15.23% of all clicks became first-time depositors, and more than four in ten registered users made a first deposit.

Growth Reached a High and Held
By April and May, the campaign had reached a stable high. Clicks held around 1,800 per month, first-time depositors around 270, and the key downstream conversion rates held above 43% and 15%.

The launch curiosity had already worn off. Performance holding at that level showed the system had settled into a repeatable operating range rather than depending on a temporary spike.

Eight Months in One View
Cumulative campaign performance

Performance metrics and revenue-share totals showing the exponential growth of the affiliate system over eight months.

Those 1,482 first-time depositors generated 10,478 total deposits. Scalajan kept the relationship active after registration through human support, education, Telegram content, and follow-up, turning the stage the casino setup had neglected into a source of repeat activity.

Monthly performance data showing the transition from $7,423 to nearly $50,000 in monthly revenue through the optimized affiliate system.

The Conclusion

A Much Stronger Affiliate Business Without a Bigger Sales Job

Scalajan identified where the existing model was losing value and rebuilt that part of the business without expanding the creator’s promotional workload.

What stayed:

  • Gaming and lifestyle content remained the focus

  • Trading promotion stayed limited to roughly one or two Instagram stories every three days

  • The creator continued publishing on his normal schedule

What changed:

  • A direct affiliate link became a managed customer journey

  • Leads received support before the broker introduction

  • Education, community, and follow-up continued after registration

  • Scalajan managed the operation behind the scenes

  • Monthly revenue-share commissions reached $49,986.63 by May

Across eight months, the campaign generated 1,482 first-time depositors, 10,478 total deposits, and $656,088 in deposit volume.

Eight months earlier, a minimal Instagram affiliate setup fed a $4,500-per-month affiliate link. By May, those same light promotions supported a nearly $50,000-per-month operation, with the creator’s role still focused on gaming and lifestyle content.
